Functions of different parts of the cell.

The nucleus ensures that the cell is working properly which is like the brain of the cell.
It contains the genetic information of the plant and can be extracted for gentic enginerring.
Without the nucleus the cell will die.

The cell membrane is composed of protein and lipid (fat) molecules. It acts as a boundary layer to contain the cytoplasm (fluid in cell) and interlocks surfaces bind cells together. It is also
selectively permeable to select chemicals that pass
in and out of cells.

The cytoplasm consists of water, salt, organic molecules, as well as enzymes which help catalyze the reactions with the cytoplasm. It holds together all of the cell's organelles, and divides the organelles within the cell.

The cell wall is a non-living secretion of the cell membrane, composed of cellulose. The cellulose fibrils are deposited in alternating layers for strength. It contains pits (openings) that make it totally permeable. It provides protection from physical injury and together with vacuole, it provides skeletal support. Thus giving the cell a shape.

The vacuole is a single layer of unit membrane that encloses fluid in a sack. It produces turgor pressure against cell wall for support. It also stores water and various chemicals including insoluble wastes.


The chloroplasts contains a greenish subtance called chlorophyll.
chlorophyll enables the plant to trap sunlight and thus it is very important without chlorophyll the plant cannot trap light and cannot photosynthesise and then the plant will die eventually.

Cell.

The type of cell I want to write on is a plant cell. Probably one from the leaf of a plant.
Some numbers are extra so I will only identify a few.

Discoveries of darwin.

Darwin discovered the evolution of life which is the foundation of biology (by providing a unifying logical explanation for the diversity of life.)
He discovered the effects of living things on the environment.
(He also discovered the origins of species and also experimented fossils he found as a naturalist before being a biologist.)
Without his discoveries, the world would not be so successful in term of biology.

Darwin's attitude

(Darwin's curiosity caused him to do research on the specimens he collected and thus made his way to his discoveries)
His determination and believing in himself caused him to succeed most of the time...
He also ignore his illness and went on with his work and thus perservering the pain of his illness.

CHARLES DARWIN((12 Feb 1809-19 April 1882)
He was a english naturalist and became eminent among scientists for his field work and inquiries into geology. His discovery was at first not believed by the scientific community. However with his evidence it was believed. He also had made several discovery and contributed to biology.
